UK milk production ~ The UK unadjusted production in June of 1171 million litres was 8 million litres (0.7%) below last year and 126 million litres below The Dairy Group quota profile. The June butterfat was 3.93%, which was 17 points above last year. The UK annual rolling production to June 2011 has decreased to 13,389 million litres, which was 1459 million litres (9.8%) below quota. The 12 month rolling butterfat adjustment remains at 3.97% fat which is the same as the UK butterfat base. UK production was running at 4.6% above last year from May 2010 to April 2011, but since then production has fallen to a similar level to last year.

NVZ MANAGER & slurry storage

By 30th April the livestock records and N loading should be completed for 2010, together with the calculation of slurry storage and production. 5 months slurry storage should be in place by 1st January 2012. Our NVZ Manager service aims to give you peace of mind and to reduce the chance of not meeting Cross Compliance rules resulting in a Single Farm Payment penalty. Ring 01823 444488.

DAIRY COMPOUND FEED ~ conventional and organic

You can save up to 20% on the price of your dairy cake by joining one of our feed groups. We typically specify six high quality dairy cakes with a minimum 13 ME.
