UK milk production ~ The UK unadjusted production in April of 1187 million litres was 54 million litres (4.7%) above last year and 141 million litres below The Dairy Group quota profile. The April butterfat was 4.02%, which was 8 points above last year. The UK annual rolling production to April 2011 has increased to 13,385 million litres, which was 1462 million litres (9.8%) below quota. The 12 month rolling butterfat adjustment has reduced to 3.96% fat which is 1 point below the UK butterfat base, which reduces production by 27 million litres.

NVZ MANAGER & slurry storage

By 30^{th April the livestock records and N loading should be completed for 2010, together with the calculation of slurry storage and production. 5 months slurry storage should be in place by 1st January 2012.
