UKmilk production: The UK unadjusted production in September of 1059 million litres was 66 million litres (6.6%) above last year and 78 million litres below The Dairy Group quota profile. The September butterfat was 3.93%, which was 7 points below last year. The UK annual rolling production to September 2010 has increased to 13,061 million litres, which was 1638 million litres (11.1%) below quota. The 12 month rolling butterfat adjustment remains at 3.96% fat which is one point below the UK butterfat base. The level of UK milk production compared to last year has increased further.

Lease: The leasing price remains at 0.06ppl for 4% fat, with best buys at 0.01ppl for 3.85% fat.

Purchase: The purchase price is the same as last week at 0.30ppl for 4% fat, with lower fat lots at 0.20ppl.
