UK milk production: The UK unadjusted production in May of 1250 million litres was 3 million litres (0.2%) below last year and 177 million litres below The Dairy Group quota profile. The May butterfat was 3.97%, which was 7 points above last year. The UK annual rolling production to May 2012 has decreased to 13,466 million litres, which was 1529 million litres (10.2%) below quota. The 12 month rolling butterfat increases to 4.07%, which is 10 points above the UK butterfat base of 3.97%, which reduces the under production by 242 million litres to 1287 million litres (8.6%) below quota.
